  • Jantar mantar – Jantar mantar consists of a total of 13 architectural astronomy instruments, which were built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur from 1724 onwards, and is one of the five built by him itself.
  • Laxmi Narayan Birla mandir – built with a hint of modernity, the interiors of the temple exhibit amazing scenes from the Hindu mythology.
  • Indira Gandhi memorial – Indira Gandhi memorial museum was the residence of the former prime minister, Indira Gandhi.
  • President house – Rashtrapati Bhawan was initially known as the ‘viceroy’s house’ and was occupied by the governor-general of India, until independence.
  • Parliament house – The parliament house of India is located on the northwestern side of the Vijay chowk, surrounded by the secretariat buildings.
  • India gate – located on Rajpath, in the center of Delhi, India gate is a 42-metre-high arch, designed by Edwin Lutyens, in the loving memory of the martyrs during the first world war.
  • Qutub minar – It was the first monument built by the sultans of Mehrauli and a site worth visiting.
  • Lotus temple – It is one of the most spectacular architectures of the bahai faith. It is situated in Kalkaji, a place located in New Delhi.
