Golden Triangle with Rajasthan Itinerary
  • Day 01: The Starting Point: New Delhi

Meet with a representative from our organisation upon arrival and check into your pre-arranged accommodation. Overnight stay in a hotel in Delhi.

  • Day 02: The Next Stop: Agra

Located 200km from New Delhi, Agra can be the next stop on your journey. Agra is undoubtedly famous for the Taj Mahal, but there are also many more things that you can do here. A recent addition, the Taj Mahal night-viewing, a unique activity for new and old tourists as the moonlight reflection on the brilliant white structure is a mesmerising sight.

After visiting the Taj Mahal, you can spend a day exploring the other destinations in Agra, like Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Mehtab Bagh. You can visit Mehtab Bagh right after visiting the Taj Mahal. It typically takes about 3-4 hours (for a guided tour) to explore Agra Fort. Exploring Fatehpur Sikri can take a bit more time as the compound is vast, and there are many important monuments to see there. You can start your Fatehpur Sikri exploration with a visit to Diwan-I-Am, Turkish Sultana’s House and the Palace of Jodha Bai. Right next to it is the Hawa Mahal and Nagina Masjid. Finally, go through the Buland Darwaza to view the Jama Masjid.

  • Day 03: Travel to Pink City: Jaipur

The last stop of the Golden Triangle circuit is Jaipur. The city that exudes royalty in every corner is where you can find another dimension of the country’s culture. The best destination to begin your royal tour from is the Amer Palace road. The area around has a cluster of attractions like the Chand Pol (Moon Gate), Suraj Pol (Sun Gate), Amber Fort and Sheesh Mahal. Following a day full of visits to these historical sites, you can relax in the evening with a light and sound show at Amber Fort before retiring for the night.

The next day, you can set off to explore the other destinations of Jaipur, like the Jaigarh Fort, followed by Jal Mahal and Nahargarh Fort. Take your time to explore the Jal Mahal as the immersed palace is surrounded by the beautiful Man Sagar Lake, where you can rent a boat.

Afterwards, you can move to the City Palace, which also has a number of other attractions nearby. You can explore the Hawa Mahal, Tripolia Gate, Jantar Mantar – Jaipur and the Elephant Fun Park, which is an exciting destination to entertain young children.

Exploring the Other Gems of Rajasthan

Jaipur covers just one side of Rajasthan. There are many more destinations in Rajasthan that you can explore in your Golden Triangle tour with Rajasthan.

    • Udaipur: The City of Lakes

Udaipur is a charming city of serene lakes and timeless beauty. A sight to behold, the sight here is unforgettable: Lake Pichola, with Lake Palace, which looks majestic as if floating on water, presents a memorable vision.

    • Jodhpur: The Blue City

Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur's unrivalled landmark and one of India's largest forts, stands tall above rocky land. Here on top, its museum and battlements tell stories of valour and opulence.

    • Jaisalmer: The Golden City

Like a golden mirage shimmering from the sands of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is known for its sandstone architecture. Another unique heritage site is the Jaisalmer Fort, where locals still live and thrive.

    • Bikaner: The Desert Jewel

Bikaner has had its fair share of historical rulers, too, and Junagarh Fort is a beautiful example of architecture and craftsmanship.
