Board your vehicle to reach Agra from your location in Delhi-NCR or Gurgaon. You’ll want an early start to your Taj Mahal & Wildlife SOS tour, since the roads are less-congested in the morning.
7 AM- 9 AM-
After a three-hour journey, land in Agra and visit the Taj Mahal. You can spend up to 2 hours exploring this beautiful monument and taking pictures for a lifetime. Don’t miss taking in the tomb and the four minarets along with the intricate marble work. You will also love the majestic gateways or arches that lead to the monument. If there is time, you can also head to the nearby Mehtab Bagh for a charming experience.
9 AM-11 AM-
You can then visit the Agra Fort as a part of your Taj Mahal & Wildlife SOS tour, which is another imposing structure built around 1565 AD by Emperor Akbar. It was also the primary residence of the Mughal Emperor for several years. This complex is full of interesting palaces, courtyards, optical illusions, and other unique design elements that you will enjoy learning about on your trip. Don’t miss the Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khaas along with the Jahangir Mahal, Khas Mahal, Chini Ka Rauza, and the Pearl Mosque or Moti Masjid here.

Have lunch and then visit the tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daulah, often called the Baby Taj. Marvel at the regal structure that was ordered by Empress Nur Jahan in the memory of her father, Mirza Gheyas Beg. Explore the central chamber with the cenotaphs of Mirza Ghiyas Beg and his wife Asmat Begum, while checking out the inlay work and frescoes. Take a stroll through the Charbagh-inspired gardens with charming pathways and water channels while taking in the elegant Jali screens for the tomb that are set in arched recesses. The tomb has walls decorated with intricate tree, flower, fruit, animal, and bird carvings while there are four minarets at the four corners.

Journey to Wildlife SOS Agra, which is around 90 minutes away.
2 PM-4.30 PM-
Spend at least a couple of hours at Wildlife SOS Agra, exploring the amazing Bear and Elephant zones here and learning about the medical aid and conservation efforts undertaken by the country. Wildlife SOS was founded by a group of individuals with a passion to conserve the country’s wildlife and natural heritage in 1905. It is famous for its work with dancing bears, along with projects for helping elephants, leopards, reptiles, and diverse other species.
You will love exploring the Agra Bear Rescue facility which has a new Education Conservation Walkway, the first of its kind in the country. Spend time with the bears and learn about all that the organization is doing to protect them. The rescue facility is within the Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, Keetam, Agra. Watch the bears and elephants moving freely in the sanctuary and take part in the feeding session at 4 PM for a chance to get close to these fascinating animals. The Elephant Conservation and Care Center is also the country’s only chain-free rescue centre. Not only will you meet the elephants, but you will also learn about their habits, backgrounds, and fascinating anecdotes. In fact, walking with the elephants is one of the most popular activities to participate in here.
5 PM-8 PM-
Start your return journey back to Delhi. Get a drop-off to your hotel or desired location upon arrival, bringing the curtains down on a memorable Taj Mahal & Wildlife SOS tour.
